My Story
I am the mother of 3 grown children, Lori, Cris and John. I have 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. I started selling Scentsy in August 2017 after Lori began selling in June. I really liked the product and so when she asked me if I wanted to sell it, how could I say no? I started working as a clerical person/secretary way back when in Newark, Ohio. My first husband was in the Air Force so off I went to Kansas City, Mo. There I worked for the Air Force and the VA. And that is where I met my wonderful husband, Art. He was transferred back to Ohio (he was from Cincinnati). And so, I started working for the VA in Chillicothe and while I was there in 1989, there was a nursing shortage. I applied for their program and was selected to begin nursing school. While I worked at the Chillicothe VA, I received my LPN, my AD in Nursing (RN) and my BSN (Bachelor degree in Nursing) from Ohio University. I have retired 3 times. The first time only lasted about 6 months and I went back to work as a nurse at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. I worked there 12 1/2 years and while there, I earned my Masters in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and retired as the Nurse Manager of the Psych Unit. I stayed retired for 3 years and babysat for my youngest granddaughter. When she started to school, I decided it was time for me to go back to work. I worked at Walmart Circleville until February of 2018 and that was my 3rd retirement. And hopefully my last . Most times I went back to work because I was bored, but now with Scentsy, I don't think I will be bored at all. My husband has Parkinson Disease and this keeps me at home most of the time. Scentsy allows me to still work from home. I use all the Scentsy products so I am able to personally tell you about the products. Scentsy is a great company!
